Lanvelle is a small accessories house built on cashmere — scarves, wraps and snoods you can wear every day, for years, without thinking about them. Pure wool joins the collection where structure serves the design better, and more fibres are on the way.

We are not a fashion label chasing seasons. We design a short list of pieces — a scarf, an oversized shawl, a pull-on snood — and they stay in the collection until we can genuinely improve them. Next: hats, gloves and socks in the same fibres. That is the whole business model: fewer styles, made properly, kept around.

What we make

Our cashmere pieces are 100% cashmere, selected for fibre length as much as softness. Longer fibres mean a smoother hand, less pilling and a drape that holds its shape through repeated wear. Sizes are generous on purpose: 180 × 30 cm for a scarf that wraps twice, 200 × 70 cm for a shawl that actually covers your shoulders.

Our core fibre, and 100% of what goes into the cashmere range — graded for fibre length, not only softness, so it pills less and softens rather than fades.

Pure wool

Used where a design needs body and a sharper line: jacquards, checks and structural wraps. Warm, resilient, and honest about what it is.

Silk

Coming next. We will add it only when we can source and finish it to the same standard as the rest of the collection.

How we work

Design

Quiet shapes and a small, layered palette — oatmeal, camel, charcoal, deep forest. Pieces that work with what you already own.

Make

Hand-knotted fringes and bound edges, finished so they sit flat and stay tidy. Brushed gently: warm, never flattened.

Keep

Care advice we actually follow ourselves. Air it, fold it, wash it rarely and gently — cashmere softens with age.
